Loaded Nachos
Crispy tortilla chips loaded with melted cheese, seasoned ground beef, beans, jalapenos, sour cream, and fresh toppings.
Ingredients
- •200 g Tortilla chips
- •200 g Cheddar cheese
- •400 g Ground beef
- •400 g Black beans
- •2 pcs Jalapeños
- •120 ml Sour cream
- •100 g Guacamole
- •2 tbsp Taco seasoning
- •1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brown 400g ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking apart as it cooks.
💡 Crumble the beef finely for even distribution. Drain excess fat before seasoning.
- 2
Drain beef. Add 2 tbsp taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 3 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
💡 Homemade or store-bought seasoning works. The sauce coats the meat evenly.
- 3
Drain and rinse 400g black beans. Slice 2 jalapeños. Shred 200g cheddar cheese.
💡 Prep all toppings before assembling. Shredding cheese melts better than pre-shredded.
- 4
Spread tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter.
💡 Don't overlap chips - they won't cook evenly. Use two sheets if needed.
- 5
Layer: beans, seasoned beef, jalapeños, and cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
💡 Even distribution ensures every chip gets toppings. Watch carefully - cheese burns quickly.
- 6
Remove from oven. Top with dollops of sour cream and guacamole. Serve immediately while hot.
💡 Add cold toppings AFTER baking - they melt and get soggy if added too early.
