Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 medium Onion

Instructions

    Cook mochigome (sweet rice flour) in steamer for 20 minutes, stirring halfway.

    Transfer to a wooden board. Sprinkle with potato starch to prevent sticking.

    Knead with a paddle until smooth and elastic. Add water if too dry.

    Divide into portions. Flatten and add anko or fruit filling.

    Wrap and seal. Dust with more potato starch.

    Best eaten same day. Store in airtight container with cornstarch.
