Cook mochigome (sweet rice flour) in steamer for 20 minutes, stirring halfway.

Transfer to a wooden board. Sprinkle with potato starch to prevent sticking.

Knead with a paddle until smooth and elastic. Add water if too dry.

Divide into portions. Flatten and add anko or fruit filling.
