Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Miso paste
  • 150 g Tofu
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 tbsp Wakame seaweed
  • 800 ml Dashi

Instructions

    Rehydrate wakame in warm water.

    💡 Softens in minutes.

    Heat dashi in pot. Add tofu and wakame.

    💡 Don't boil after adding miso.

    Gently press extra-firm tofu and cut into small cubes. Add to pot during last 2 minutes of cooking to warm through without falling apart.

    💡 Silken tofu works too - add at end for creamy texture.

    Serve topped with green onions.

    💡 Add just before serving.

    Add liquids and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

    💡 Low and slow yields tender results.

    Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
