Milkshake
Thick blended drink with ice cream, milk, and your choice of flavor. Creamy and indulgent.
Ingredients
- •300 g Premium vanilla ice cream
- •200 ml Whole milk
- •30 g Sugar
- •2.5 ml Vanilla extract
- •50 ml Whipped cream
- •1 whole Maraschino cherry
Instructions
- 1
Chill all ingredients thoroughly - ice cream should be firm, milk should be cold. This prevents the milkshake from becoming too runny. Use premium ice cream with high butterfat content (14-16%) for the creamiest texture.
💡 Cold ingredients are essential for thick, frosty milkshakes. Warm ingredients result in a thin, watery drink.
- 2
Add 3-4 large scoops of ice cream to a blender or milkshake maker. Add 200ml cold whole milk, 2 tbsp sugar or honey, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. For chocolate shakes, add 2 tbsp cocoa powder or chocolate syrup.
💡 The ratio is key: more ice cream creates thickness, more milk creates pourability. Adjust to preference.
- 3
Blend on medium speed for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth and frothy. Do not over-blend - too much air makes it airy and foamy instead of thick and creamy. The texture should be thick enough to hold a spoon upright.
💡 The perfect milkshake has no ice crystals. Blending too long introduces too much air and creates that whipped texture.

Pour into a chilled tall glass. Add toppings: whipped cream, maraschino cherry, crushed cookies, or chocolate shavings. Serve immediately with a wide straw. For extra thick shakes, serve in a bowl with a spoon.
💡 Milkshakes separate quickly - serve immediately. The whipped cream adds richness and visual appeal.

For adult milkshakes: add 30ml Kahlua, Baileys, or vodka. Blend briefly just to incorporate. Serve immediately in a chilled glass with whipped cream.
💡 The alcohol adds depth and creates a sophisticated adult dessert beverage.
