Ingredients
- •4 pieces Salmon fillets
- •0.33 cup Honey
- •3 tbsp Soy sauce
- •1 teaspoon Salt
- •6 cloves Garlic
- •2 tablespoons Olive oil
- •1 inch Ginger
- •1 medium Lemon
- •1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- •3 stalks Green onions
- •2 cups Rice
Instructions
- 1
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 2
Make sauce: whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- 3
Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes.
- 4
Flip salmon and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 5
Pour sauce around the salmon. Transfer to oven and broil for 3-4 minutes until glaze is sticky.
- 6
Baste salmon with the sauce from the pan. The glaze should be thick and caramelized.
- 7
Serve immediately with steamed rice and garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
💡 Do not overcook - salmon continues cooking during broiling.
