Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4 pieces Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Rose water
  • 0.25 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 cups Oil

Instructions

    Make sugar syrup: boil sugar, water, cardamom - 10 min

    Add rose water, set aside

    💡 Warm syrup

    Mix milk powder, flour, ghee, baking soda, milk to form dough

    💡 Dont overmix

    Cover and let rest or marinate for the specified time to allow flavors to penetrate deeply.

    💡 Resting allows proteins to relax and flavors to meld - do not rush this step.

    Shape into small balls - no cracks

    Fry on low heat until deep brown

    💡 Low heat = cooked inside

    Add to warm syrup, let soak 4 hours
