Falafel
Crispy fried chickpea fritters with herbs and spices. Vegetarian Middle Eastern street food.
Ingredients
- •1 lb Dried chickpeas
- •1 medium Onion
- •1 teaspoon Salt
- •0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- •4 cloves Garlic
- •2 tablespoons Olive oil
- •0.5 cup Fresh parsley
- •0.5 cup Fresh cilantro
- •2 tsp Cumin
- •1 tsp Coriander
- •3 tbsp Flour
- •1 tsp Baking powder
- •1 tsp Baking soda
- •3 cups Oil

Soak chickpeas overnight - do NOT use canned

Process chickpeas, onion, garlic, herbs until coarse
