Chicken Wings
Crispy fried wings tossed in sauce - from classic Buffalo to sweet Asian glaze. The ultimate game day food.
Ingredients
- •2 lbs Chicken wings
- •4 tbsp Butter
- •1 lb Chicken breast
- •0.5 cup Hot sauce
- •1 teaspoon Salt
- •1 tsp Garlic powder
- •0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- •2 tablespoons Olive oil
- •0.5 tsp Cayenne
- •3 cloves Garlic
- •2 tbsp Oil
- •1 medium Onion
- •0.5 cup Blue cheese dressing
- •1 cup Chicken broth
- •4 stalks Celery
- •1 piece Lime
Instructions
- 1
Pat wings completely dry with paper towels. This is critical for crispy skin.
- 2
Toss wings with baking powder and salt. The baking powder raises the pH for extra crispiness.
- 3
Arrange wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Refrigerate uncovered for 1 hour to dry the skin further.
- 4
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake wings for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- 5
While wings bake, make sauce: combine hot sauce, butter, garlic, vinegar, and honey in a saucepan.
- 6
Toss hot wings in sauce until evenly coated. For extra crispy wings, broil for 2 minutes after saucing.
- 7
Squeeze fresh lime over wings and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately with blue cheese dip.
💡 The double-cook method guarantees restaurant-quality crispy wings.
